Digital Marketing Coordinator (NYC / REMOTE)

We are currently seeking a digital marketing coordinator. 

Company Overview

Immediate Family was founded in the fall of 2017 by owner, Chris Pizzolo. Immediate Family is a New York City-based marketing agency focusing on digital strategy for musicians and brands. Our specialty is digital marketing, social media, and branding strategies. We help artists get more exposure by targeting partnerships with brands, influencers, blogs, and podcasts.

Position Overview: Digital Marketing Coordinator  (NYC / REMOTE)

The digital marketing coordinator will be responsible for the development and messaging of our artist’s social media accounts. You will work closely with the General Manager of the company.

You will ensure that the client’s social media is well-coordinated by analyzing, managing, and improving its process, and will be responsible for the overall growth of each account.

  • Have a genuine interest in, and a strong understanding of, our roster and potential for clients.

Position Requirements/Details

The ideal candidate is someone that loves social media, and music. We want someone that is paying attention to social trends and understands that social media is always evolving and requires strict attention to detail and creative problem-solving. You must have: 

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • An active social media account/understanding of social media
  • Personal initiative and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, and project/task management software are a must, and experience with analytics, CRM, social media, and/or design tools are all bonuses

Internships
Social Media Intern

We are currently seeking a digital marketing intern for the Fall/Winter semester in Brooklyn. 

Interns are responsible for aiding in day-to-day tasks in the areas of digital marketing and social media management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: drafting social media posts, influencer research/outreach, recording social media analytics, and updating media spreadsheets. Perks include actual hands-on experience, free coffee and concert tickets!

Interns should be detail-oriented, creative, organized, eager to learn, reliable and (most importantly) a music lover. Basic graphic design skills is a plus but not required. Interns must be based in New York and should be available 2-3 days a week. This internship is for college credit only. Please submit both your resume and cover letter to [email protected]

Post-Production Intern

We are currently seeking a post-production intern for the Fall/Winter semester in Brooklyn. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: research video and podcast trends, assist on shoots, transcribing/logging/editing audio interviews and editing multi-cam interviews/sessions.  Perks include actual hands-on experience, free coffee and concert tickets!

Interns should be organized, self-starter, creative thinker, excited to learn, reliable and (most importantly) passionate about podcast and video content. Adobe premiere experience required. Logic Pro experience is a plus. Interns must be based in New York and should be available 1-2 days a week. This internship is for college credit only.
